BT Coating II - Size specification
The BT Coating II can process parts measuring 102 mm diameter x 130 mm height. It is completely automated and the parts are not touched from beginning to end.
BT Coating II - Performance
Up to 7800 pieces can be processed per hour. Trays travel along a conveyor between the different modules. Up to 13 parts are arranged on a single tray. BT Coating II has the same modular concept as the BT Coating I, with expanded capacity from the larger trays. New formats are quick and easy to set-up, and different configurations can be stored in the system for instant recall and fast changeover, enabling production short runs for greater flexibility.

For years, Tapematic has been successfully implementing tray conveyor technology at its customers' sites in order to carry out high quality UV coating on parts.
BT Coating II - Modular expansion
The parts are carried on trays placed on to a conveyor along the system, which can be customize selecting different coating modules according to the desired process application.
UV Coating is carried out by one or several spray guns installed transverse to the conveying direction. During the coating program, the operator selects different recipes on the proprietary spray software, creating a stunning finish.
BT Coating II - Integration of quality controil for efficient production processes
The finely tuned interaction between the system technology, the coating system and the workpiece geometry is a decisive factor when it comes to achieving efficient production processes. It is always important to reduce the reject rate as much as possible. For this reason Tapematic BT Coating II can be equipped with a 3D HD camera-based optical inspection. This allows to inspect and grade every part instantaneously. It can check for consistency in the coating and spot even microscopic manufacturing flaws in shape, coating or imperfections. All without any operator presence or intervention.
