How does PST Line II integrate into an existing production line?<br>

PST Line II is designed for maximum integration flexibility. Each module can operate either as a stand-alone unit or be seamlessly connected to existing production lines, depending on the customer’s manufacturing layout and automation strategy.
The control architecture is built to communicate with standard plant protocols, allowing smooth data exchange with upstream and downstream equipment such as handling systems, conveyors, robots, and quality control stations. This ensures continuous production flow without the need for major changes to the existing infrastructure.
In practical applications, sputtering modules have frequently been integrated directly into customers’ existing coating lines, extending functionality without disrupting established processes. This modular and open integration concept makes it possible to modernize or expand current production systems step by step, preserving previous investments while increasing performance and finishing capabilities.
