Performance and Quality of Results

What is the average scrap rate typically achieved with a properly tuned line?

When a line is correctly configured and optimized for the specific component, scrap rates are generally very low. Stable process conditions and automated control of coating, curing, and metallization parameters help ensure that most parts meet quality requirements from the first pass.
High process repeatability plays a key role in minimizing rejects. Once optimal settings are defined, the same parameters are consistently applied to every production cycle, reducing variability and limiting the risk of defects that would otherwise lead to rework or discarded parts.
As a result, properly tuned lines commonly achieve production yields exceeding 95 percent. This translates into a reduced scrap rate, lower material waste, and more efficient use of production time, particularly in applications involving high-value components or complex geometries where consistency is critical.
